805 Km / 12 hours Easy Rider Challenge in Jordan, 30 November 2020

My name is Amro Al-Attal, I am 39 years old. I live in Jordan. I started riding motorcycles only four years ago. During the last four years, I visited all the cities and villages of our beloved Jordan. The biggest challenge for me was when we decided at the beginning of this year to ride to the closing ceremony of the 2020 Dakar Rally in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is 1480 km from Amman, Jordan. After the experience of the long Riyadh trip, and under the nature of my work in organizing bicycle trips through our company specialized in cycling activities, we decided to do a long distance ride challenge on Motorcycles.

After consulting with Captain Samer Hassouneh, he told us about the Long Distance Rider’s organization, and their 805km/12hr ‘Easy Rider’ challenge. This ride was then coordinated with the wonderful Captain Samer Hassouneh and Long Distance Rider’s Middle East Ambassador Vivek Mehta as the Mentor. The experience of 805 km in less than 12 hours was very beautiful and I did not feel any additional fatigue or effort than any previous ride.

Now we are looking forward to the next long distance ride of 1610 km in 24 hours ‘Full Throttle’, led by Captain Samer Hassouneh. Let’s get another long-distance achievement very soon!

I thank Captain Samer Hassouneh, Mentor Vivek Mehta and everyone who helped us in achieving the 805 km/12hrs challenge, and we will soon be looking for the completion of the 1610 km/24-hour ride in Jordan and then the 2500km/36-hour challenge too!
